Context

I like hosting quarterly parties for my friends. But passing the aux around in a party suxs, and airdropping the Spotify URL non-stop suxs. (Plus, there is always someone asking what song is currently playing).

So I made a simple widget with a live "currently playing" view and a QR code embed, and streamed it to my iPad hooked up to my TV 🪩.

Easy af honestly, simple webhook API embed and a QR code image embedded in a vanilla HTML page.

What it does

• Live Activity: Shows exactly what track is spinning right now so people don't have to ask.
• Scan to Queue: Guests just scan the QR code to drop their songs directly into the queue from their own phones. No aux cord needed.
